Luecochloridium Paradoxium

Luecochloridium Paradoxium is a parasite by the same name. It infects the eye stalks of snails. It has become well known for the mind control effect it has on the infected snails. Anxiety can feel this way for me. Like I am the unhappy host to an infectious parasite that controls my thoughts.

Pockets

The concept for Pockets was an object as an installation site. I wanted to create something that represented my closeted queerness in high school. These pants were the site I chose, specifically because I went to a private catholic school that required us to wear dress pants or khakis to conform to a very rigid idea of masculinity. One I don’t align myself with at all.
